Is Tofino Auctions just for nonprofits?

Tofino Auctions is built for nonprofits, charities, and community organizations. Our software also powers SchoolAuction.net for educational organizations of all sizes, including preschools, K–12 schools, colleges, and universities.

Why does the $79 Acorn plan include features not found in the $1,000 Essentials plan?

The two plans are designed for different types of fundraising organizations and pricing models.

The Acorn plan has a low upfront cost ($79) plus a 3% performance fee on the revenue you raise. It includes additional tools like mobile bidding and sponsorship packages to help organizations new to fundraising or with more modest goals reach those goals easily.

The Essentials plan has a flat annual fee and NO performance fees, making it a better long-term value for organizations that primarily run one major fundraiser each year and want predictable costs while keeping more of what they raise.

What happens to our event site and data when we're done?

Your event sites are preserved in your account for as long as you have an active subscription, and your data, reports, and records can be downloaded as CSV at any time.

Can we use our own credit card processor?

Yes — Plus and Professional plans let you connect your existing processor through one of our supported gateways. Donor data stays in your account.

Do you sell our donor data?

No. Never have, never will.
